Helping Bali’s Street Dogs One Street at a Time
Hi, I’m Alana.
After moving to Bali, I started noticing how many dogs live on the streets without access to proper care. Many suffer from untreated infections, parasites and mange, while uncontrolled breeding means more puppies are born into difficult conditions.
Bali Street Paws focuses on sterilisation, treatment and community support to improve the lives of street dogs and the people who care for them.
Life for Street Dogs in Bali
When I moved to Bali, one of the things that affected me most was seeing how many dogs live on the streets without proper care.
Some suffer from untreated infections, parasites and mange, conditions that can quickly become serious without basic veterinary treatment. At the same time, uncontrolled breeding means more puppies are born into difficult conditions.
Instead of helping just one dog at a time, I wanted to focus on actions that could create lasting change.
I realised how many dogs were suffering silently.
I knew I couldn’t help every dog on the island.
So I created Bali Street Paws.
Choose How You Want to Help
Every contribution helps improve the lives of Bali’s street dogs.
Sponsor a Treatment
Help treat dogs suffering from common skin diseases caused by Bali’s humid climate and parasites.
- A small treatment can dramatically improve a dog’s quality of life.
Sponsor a Sterilisation
Prevent uncontrolled breeding and reduce suffering for street dogs.
- One sterilisation can prevent hundreds of future stray puppies.
Support a Street Project
Help fund a street-by-street sterilisation campaign in a local community.
- Together we can transform one street at a time.
Small Actions. Real Change.

This is me — Alana — at one of the first Bali Street Paws events, selling our very first t-shirts to raise funds for the project.
Every shirt sold helps support sterilisation campaigns, treatments for street dogs and our street-by-street initiatives.
It’s a small start, but every action helps move the project forward.
Wear the mission. Help the dogs.

But real change only happens with the support of people who care.

Spirit Friday – First Bali Street Paws T-Shirt Launch
During Spirit Friday at Green School, Bali Street Paws launched its very first fundraising initiative.
We sold our first t-shirts to raise funds for sterilisation programs and treatments for Bali’s street dogs. It was an amazing moment to share the project with the community and start building support.

Supporting BAWA Sterilisation Program
Bali Street Paws joined the Green School community to support BAWA Bali in a sterilisation initiative.
Together we helped support the sterilisation of 50 dogs, contributing to a healthier and more balanced street dog population in Bali.
Collaborations like this are an important step toward long-term impact.
Thank you for helping me turn this idea into real change.
