This month felt different.
The kind of month where things actually start moving.
It started with a meeting at Le Bajo. We sat down, talked through ideas, and by the end of it we had something real on the table, a collaboration and an event. The date is set for the 13th of June. I’m genuinely excited about this one. Le Bajo is a beautiful space, and having a real event there feels like a big step.
Then came another meeting with BAWA. I sat down with them for the first time, and I came away with more — more information, more understanding of how this world works, more clarity on what Bali Street Paws Project can actually become. This time was no different. There are also conversations happening around future collaborations, which I’m really hopeful about. BAWA has the experience and the reach that we’re still building toward, and working alongside them even in small ways feels like exactly the right direction.
And then, to round out the week, a meeting with a fitness club about organising another event together. Details still to be confirmed, but the conversation was positive and the potential is there.
Three meetings.
Three doors that feel open.
A June event on the calendar. Possible collaborations with organisations that have been doing this work for years.
Bali Street Paws Project is still young. But days like these remind me that it’s going somewhere.
More soon.
