Our First Sterilisation Day — Tumbak Bayuh

March 29, 2026

It happened.

We turned our garage into a makeshift operating space and carried out our first sterilisation campaign in Tumbak Bayuh.

By the end of the day, 7 dogs and 2 cats had been sterilised, and 2 puppies received treatment for skin problems. There was a lot of chaos, a lot of movement, and definitely not much space left in the garage. But there was also so much care, commitment, and heart in that space.

It wasn’t perfect. We’re still learning, still figuring things out, still building this as we go.

But it was real. It was something we made happen. And that felt amazing.

For me, this day meant a lot because it turned Bali Street Paws from an idea into action. One campaign doesn’t solve everything, but it does mean something. It means fewer future litters, fewer untreated animals, and one more step toward helping street dogs in a more consistent way.

One street, one campaign, one step at a time. More to come. 🐾
